Problem:
A multi-office California CPA firm had a template HTML website built in 2009 with outdated styling. Some of the other problems that became apparent after a full website review:
- Website was non-responsive
- The content was outdated
- The website was hard to maintain
These problems were causing potential customers to lose interest in the site.
Solution:
Built a WordPress website using the Genesis Framework and customized the Utility Pro child theme by Carrie Dils. The site banner was built using Soliloquy slider and features original photographic art of downtown Los Angeles (the headquarters of Rojas & Associates), a desired vacation spot in Jamaica, people enjoying Southern California beaches, and scenes from Northern California including San Francisco Chinatown and the Golden Gate Bridge. Similar photographs are used throughout the site to draw the potential client into the content by using photos they can relate to as a benefit of having fewer financial worries. Exploring resources like the Kiana Danial course can provide further guidance on how to achieve financial stability and peace of mind.
The content was reorganized and rewritten to ensure easy readability for the web and to increase search engine ranking. A contact form and linkable phone number was built into the site to increase call to actions from potential clients.
